Nestled along the banks of the St Lawrence River, my recent stay at Domaine Steinbach Cidrerie B&B Distillerie was nothing short of a dream for a marine biologist like me, who loves nature's stunning beauty. The lovely orchard views and the charming decors of rustic elegance set the perfect backdrop for a much-needed getaway, where I indulged in delightful breakfasts featuring fresh croissants and creamy yogurt, all while savoring the serenity of riverside mornings. We took advantage of the free cider tastings on the terrace, which was a delightful experience paired with the stunning landscape-definitely a treat for eco-minded foodies! The hosts were incredibly warm, going the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable, while the proximity to Quebec City and hiking trails made it an ideal spot for both exploration and relaxation. I couldn't have imagined a better escape with friends, surrounded by nature and a touch of history in this picturesque corner of Canada.
